Hey loves, Let’s continue on our journey to make sure that we are prepared for judgement day. While many people dismiss judgment day as something that is simply not going to happen, it is important for us to explore what the Bible states will happen during that great and terrible day. None of us would want to go into a test unprepared and having not studied at all. We would surely fail. I heard a great man of God, Francis Chan, say that many people live their lives planning for their education, marriage, jobs, and retirement. These are all good and well, and should definitely be considered, but many of us are totally unprepared for the great day of judgement. In 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.” Inside this verse, it is revealed that each person will appear before Christ. You may wonder, what is it that He is looking for? We revealed in yesterday’s verse that there will be a book and then books that will be before Jesus. To remind you, the verse Revelation 20:11-12 says, “Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds.” So it is clear to us that we all will be judged (including those who have passed before us) and there will be a book of life and books that are written with names in it, according to their deeds. We definitely want to be written in the book of life. Why? Because in Daniel 12:1 it reveals that “Now at that time Michael, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, EVERYONE WHOSE NAME IS FOUND written in the book, will be rescued.” and in Revelation 20:15 it states, ““And if ANYONE’S NAME WAS NOT found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.” Now stay with me now. I know i just threw a bunch of Bible verses at you, but I want you to really understand that it is not just my personal opinion, but what the Word of God has stated. In order for us to be written in the book of life, WE MUST ACCEPT CHRIST AS OUR SAVIOR. Have you accepted Him as your savior? If not, please take the time to pray this prayer:
Father, I know that I have fallen short of
Your Word. My sins have separated me from
You. I repent(am truly sorry) and I want to
turn away from my sins and live for You.
Father, please forgive me, and help me to
obey Your commandments. I believe that
your son, Jesus Christ, died for my sins, was
resurrected from the dead on the third day,
and is now at the right Hand of the Father
and hears my prayer. I ask You Jesus to
become the Lord of my life,to rule and reign
in my heart for eternity. Please Lord, grant
me the gift of the Holy Spirit to help me obey
Your Word, and to do all that You command.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
Now this is just the beginning of what we must do. I want to let you know that the sinner’s prayer is not where salvation ends. We must continue in the faith. You must cultivate salvation, thorough prayer, fellowship with other believers, and worship. You should seek God daily, asking Him for direction so that you can fulfill everything that He has set out for you to do. Beloved, judgment day can be scary, but I am dedicated to help you every step of the way!!!

Please continue to share this blog and others! we will continue tomorrow on our quest to be prepared for judgement!! God is with us!!!
